Despite sharing a vocabulary for being bold and intrepid, this season’s silhouettes by Molly Goddard, Paskal, and Simone Rocha amongst others characterise such qualities through their own unique vernacular.
At Issey Miyake, the designer’s iconic and oft-replicated Bao Bao triangle panel was adapted onto a sunny multicoloured and volumised rain jacket. Simone Rocha’s coats and dresses featured prints made in collaboration with the Louise Bourgeois foundation; an artist she has expressed her admiration for season after season. Stella McCartney maintained her exploration into the dichotomy between heritage and contemporaneity, the masculine and the feminine. It goes on, and we’ll let let the clothes do the talking.
