Possibly one of fashion's best-kept secrets, Ports 1961 is quietly building up a loyal following and a solid reputation. Founded in Toronto in 1961 by Luke Tanabe, the Canadian brand is loved for its refined contemporary style that is versatile enough to resolve the modern woman's underdressed/overdressed conundrum.

Helmed by creative director Natasa Cagalj , formerly Alber Elbaz's right hand designer at Lanvin and Head of Design at Stella McCartney, her collections often feature relaxed silhouettes, and fun and light-hearted prints, which always strike a fine balance between easy weekend wear and crisp workwear.

Following her successful debut last season, for spring-summer 2017 her collection continues with a similar narrative of easy to wear/pair pieces. Blue and white stripes are mixed with off-beat prints on classic tailored shirts and shirt-dresses; candy-cane stripes brighten up a T-shirt and trouser duo; and the  everyday white and sailor striped tops are updated with young squiggles in various paint box colours.
